We provide our agents with one-on-one training that uses state-of-the-art business building techniques, designed to develop long-term relationships between you and your customers. Your training program can be designed around your needs. It is so flexible that is allows you to keep your current job and start part-time.
   

• University of Farmers
  Our latest training innovation, the University of Farmers, provides unique training for new career agents in a campus-style environment.
   

• Tuition Reimbursement
  Because Farmers values and encourages continual education, we will invest in your success with advanced training throughout your career-as well as reimburse your tuition for any successfully completed college-level industry courses that lead to professional designations.
   

• Lead Assistance
  Although we are searching for people who can "make things happen", a substantial investment has been made to generate leads to help you get started. Our District Office helps you get leads through lead generation programs including auto insurance leads, home insurance leads, and household information leads. We'll even interview, train, and support your telemarketers if you choose to hire one for yourself.
   

• Financial Support
  During your first two years, we will provide financial assistance to help you rapidly establish a growing, professional agency. This helps pay for start-up and expansion costs and alleviates the financial strain of starting a business. If you are willing to make a commitment to excellence and personally develop and invest in your business, within one to two years your combined new-and renewal-commission earnings will likely exceed your most liberal income expectations. Simply stated, the better you perform in building your business, the more subsidy you can earn. Future income will be limited only by your ambition and ability.
   

• Commissions
  In addition, while in the Reserve program you'll earn commissions on your sales. Once you've successfully completed the Reserve Agent program, you will be considered a full-time agent on the Career Training Program and be building a successful Farmers agency.

Getting Started Summary:
 
    If you haven't completed the initial interview, that is the first step. You will have a chance to see where you will be starting your career if selected, and get an overview of the program. The next step is the personal interview where we will go into greater detail and look at how this business opportunity will work for you from a financial and personal basis. If everything looks good after this visit, we'll submit your paperwork for approval by Farmers. We want to make sure that this career is right for you and that you are right for the career. After we have final approval from the company, you'll get licensed through the insurance department to sell the products we offer and we'll start your reserve agent training program. After that, the sky's the limit!
